Softpedia, scourge of the internet
August 31, 2007
Dear Softpedia,
Go to hell. Go directly to hell and do not collect $200.
That’s right Softpedia, you’ve pissed me off so badly that I went to the overused Monopoly cliché. The first email was innocuous. The second and third were annoying. The fourth was an act of war.
Your product “Passworder 1.1” has been tested by the Softpedia labs and found to be completely clean of adware/spyware components.
Uh, ok. Go to hell.
We are impressed with the quality of your product and encourage you to keep this high standards in the future.
No, seriously, go to hell.
To assure our visitors that “Passworder 1.1” is clean, we have granted it with the “100% CLEAN” Softpedia award. Moreover, to let your users know about this certification, you may display this award on your website, on software boxes or inside your product.
There is no way I would ever endorse your service, for you’ve sent four requests asking for the same thing, each request only an hour apart.
